I had one great holiday this winter, thank God. Together with 7 other friends, we went travelling around Istanbul and Bursa in Turkey. Full report will follow. I was quite unfortunate that I’ve got feelings of getting a fever a day before we left Turkey. The rest 2 weeks were a little bit lame, though.
However, I must say that I’ve had my life filled with other stuff while being ill. The news on...

Two days ago I wrote several emails pertaining the issue on Gaza to a number of elected politicians within my area, namely:
Riverside Councillors of Cardiff City Council - Gwenllian Lansdown (Plaid Cymru), Mohammed-Sarul Islam (Plaid Cymru), Jaswant Singh (Plaid Cymru)
Cardiff West Assembly Members for the National Assembly of Wales - Christopher Franks (Plaid Cymru), Leanne Wood (Plaid Cymru), Andrew Davies...

One of my many interests is reading. And another one is sharing what I’ve read. The latter involves a lot of talking. But I must say i’m not a good public speaker, not like Tok Guru Nik Aziz nor Anwar nor Khalid Samad of course. This, however, did not discourage me from addressing issues in large groups.
I am always enthusiastic and passionate at any events which involve me talking or explaining on...

I am halfway through reading Ustaz Hasrizal’s ‘Aku Terima Nikahnya’, and a list of good memories came to my mind, which made me tempted to put my thoughts into words at this point.
The respected Ustaz explained that a marriage is a journey which needs a clear destination. That’s quite simple. And he elaborated more by quoting a verse form the Quran (Surah Furqan, chapter 74). It is a prayer for us to...

This is interesting! BBC is launching the ‘After Rome’ series starring Boris Johnson. Here’s what It says in its short introduction:
‘After Rome’
Episode 1: Boris Johnson looks at the early history of Islam
I have been a fan of BBC iPlayer for nearly a year now. BBC records most, if not all, of their programmes and put them up in its website (http://bbc.co.uk/iplayer) for viewers...

I have 2 heavy duty projects at hand, of which progress of both projects have to be presented next week. Joe’s project meeting is on Tuesday, Richard’s on Thursday. I will also deliver a short presentation on ‘Rare Earth Elements’ on Tuesday next week at 11.00am, which requires a careful and detailed research.
God help me!

Rafie just bought himself a new 24-inch Mac. I’ve got the chance to watch a few HD animations with him, and they were awesome! The graphics were crystal clear and I could see all the minute lines and hairs of the animals (one of ‘em was the Madagascar 2 movie trailer) in the animation. Brilliant! I’ve just bought my Toshiba Satellite Pro laptop in March this year, so there’s no chance...
