About Me

My name is Mohamed Azad and I am from Subang Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia.

I am pursuing for an MESci Exploration & Resource Geology degree in Cardiff University, UK, and expecting to graduate in 2010. Upon completion of my degree, I hope to offer my service and specialty to Malaysia’s national oil and gas company, PETRONAS. I have been actively involved in loads of student organisations and run many events and activities. I have served and played numerous roles in the Malaysian Student Society of Cardiff University (MSSCF), United Kingdom & Eire Council for Malaysian Students (UKEC), Cardiff University Islamic Society (ISoc), Federation of Student Islamic Society (FOSIS), Palestinian Solidarity Society (PSS) and Cardiff University Labour Students. I have also played hockey for the Cardiff Medics 2nd team and football for the Cardiff Malaysians FC.

I have previously entered Sekolah Tuanku Abdul Rahman (STAR, Ipoh) in 1998-2002. Later in 2003-2005, I was offered to pursue the International Baccalaureate Diploma course in Kolej Mara Banting, en-route to the UK.
