This is interesting! BBC is launching the ‘After Rome’ series starring Boris Johnson. Here’s what It says in its short introduction:
‘After Rome’
Episode 1: Boris Johnson looks at the early history of Islam
I have been a fan of BBC iPlayer for nearly a year now. BBC records most, if not all, of their programmes and put them up in its website (http://bbc.co.uk/iplayer) for viewers who were unable to watch them at their screening time. I’ve been following a few series so far, some of them have ended their series. Those that I’ve watched and still watching are:
The Tudors (episodes of King Henry VIII’s life and the evolution of England’s christianity subscription from Rome to the Church of England)
Merlin (the journey of a young boy to Camelot in the quest of reaching his destiny)
World War II (an attempt of restructuring episodes of relationship and meets between Stalin & Hitler)
There are also some dodgy programmes which I do not reccommend you to watch. You’ll waste your time by doing so.
